Onyx IPad/Tablet Vehicle Mount

This is the Onyx 300P Vehicle Tablet/IPad/Laptop Mount. It is a new addition to our Onyx line of products. This mount is similar to it’s big brother’s the 100A and 200A series Onyx vehicle laptop mounts. There are two, tooth locking, spring assisted hinges for adjusting and a ball joint head stock for quick and easy adjustment of the tray angle. It features a no-drill, seatbolt mounting sytem and all the necessary brackets and hardware. This mount is a snap to install. There are 3 different tray options available to choose from when purchased from the Dura-Mounts product page. They are as follow:

1. The default tray option is the IPad / Tablet tray which is designed to hold IPads, tablet PCs, and smaller laptops.
2. The next available tray option is the Vented Laptop Tray which comes with two durable velcro straps and is best suited for supporting laptops, books, or documents. It features ventilation holes in the surface to allow better airflow to laptop cooling intakes.
3. The final available tray option is the Adjustable Laptop tray. This tray is also designed for laptops and boasts some extra features. It has adjustable fingers on the edges that clamp the laptop to it with no obstruction to the keys, buttons, or track pad.  It also features a method for adjusting the trays width to fit a range of different laptop sizes perfectly.

The Onyx Vehicle Laptop Mount

…is the epitome of smart, compact, multipurpose and universal laptop mounting solutions. “Why?” you may ask. Well, lets break it down.

Smart – The Onyx laptop mount is designed with style in mind but also rigidity and size. The adjustable joints are internally spring loaded and toothed. This allows the simple hand knob to be unscrewed and the mount can easily be adjusted. Some imitators of the Onyx laptop mount use the same looking joints but what you can’t see is the poor metal or weak plastic teeth within that will prematurely lead to being stripped and useless in no time. Also, they lack the spring loaded feature which means when the knob is loosened you still will have to manually spread the two halves apart with both hands before being able to adjust. The Onyx laptop mount’s superior spring and tough metal tooth design allows for smooth, quick adjusting when the knob is loosened. These adjustable joints contribute to the unbelievable amount of adjust-ability for many different applications and vehicles.

Another smart feature adding to the adjust-ability is the Onyx laptop mount’s unique tripod style swiveling head. This head is located at the top of the mount. It boasts locking tilt, rock, and swivel action and can be used to hold a number of things. The laptop tray simply screws on to this head for holding laptops. When the tray is taken off  any digital camera or video camera can simply be screwed on to it just like any normal tripod. Also, with the optional LCD monitor bracket (ACS-01) screwed onto the swivel head you can hold an LCD monitor.

The Onyx laptop  mount features two telescoping sections of the body in it’s design as well. These  are adjusted and locked buy a simple and effective thumb latch. These telescoping segments allow for the the mounts height / length to be adjusted, but also adds to the laptop mounts adjust-ability. Not only does it allow telescoping, but it also adds two points of 360 degree rotational adjustment.

The laptop mount tray is another ingenious part of this mount. The tray is made of strong naturally cool aluminum, but also has a series of holes in it to allow for extra air reaching your laptops vents located on the bottom for ideal operating temperatures to be maintained.

The Jeniko ULM-65 Laptop Mount

…is a further step in the direction of versatility and simplicity.

This mount is a universal fit modification of it’s original mount the Jeniko CFL-1000 and the Jeniko CSM-1000. The CFL-1000 mounts to the floor of the vehicle via a bracket that is screwed into the floor board of the vehicle. The CSM-1000 is the same mount only it bolts to the seat rail bolts. The big difference with the new ULM-65 is the fact that this mount bolts to the floor via the passenger seat bolt, or any available bolt for that matter. This means no new holes or modifications are needed. It also allows the install time to be drastically reduced. Can easily be installed in less than 5 minutes. The Jeniko Nitrous Bottle Mount

…is the strong, stylish solution for mounting nitrous (NOS) racing fuel bottles in vehicles.
